Hello and welcome to the (mildly famous) Loony Bin website in this our 30th year in business.

We pride ourselves on being the most cluttered, and untidy shop in the north of England, if not the World.  There's always lots of things to crunch underfoot, and displays to knock over. It's taken years to obtain this situation.

We are suppliers to Yorkshire Television, Granada TV, BBC, numerous Theatre Groups, Pubs, Bars, Night Clubs etc and last, and by all means least, Leeds City Council. Due to their "Crazy Comedy Capers" it's difficult to say "Leeds City Council" without laughing. If you live here or have tried to drive around our "Legoland" of a city, you'll understand.  (We've got a "Loop Road" you know. No, don't laugh, they think it works.  Oh, and don't mention the Supertram or the High Occupancy Lane or the Guided Bus Lanes or any of the other congestion creating schemes).  Anyway, let's calm down, rant over.

Not all our stock is on this site, so if you are looking for a certain item and don't see it here, please contact us, we may have it, or be able to obtain it for you.

We are open 10.07 a.m. to 5.03 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays (except Wednesdays when we close at 1.34 p.m.). (all times are approximate)

We are closed on Sundays (except for balloon deliveries),
and obviously, except for the 9th. Sunday following Septuagesima, but only if there is an "R" in the month and it falls on the Thursday before Pancake Tuesday then of course that would be O.K., unless I'm having my hair cut, then details to be announced.  I hope this clears up any confusion.

We have an adult section of naughty items for hen nights etc. Naturally, there is nothing to see here on the website, but if you call in the shop, please ask to see our F & S department. (Filth and Smut).
